About
I'm Sarah, and SarahUniverse is my software development practice, built on over a decade of experience at a Fortune 500 company building secure, scalable software across mobile, backend, web, and enterprise platforms. I specialize in modern Apple platform development in Swift 6 and SwiftUI, across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and the Mac, together with the Go services behind them. Production Android work in Java runs alongside it, and accessibility is part of how I build rather than a pass at the end.
I own features end to end, from raw sockets and schema design up to polished, shipped applications: REST and GraphQL APIs, real-time updates over WebSockets and push notifications, offline-first sync that survives a dead connection, and the test automation and release pipelines that keep it all moving. Alongside that sits deep experience in QA, release management, and enterprise IT, plus AI-assisted development and hands-on work training and benchmarking AI coding models. I have a good time doing it.

Apple Platform Apps
iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch apps in Swift and SwiftUI, taken from first sketch to App Store release. Widgets, Live Activities, App Intents, Siri, and on-device Apple Intelligence where they earn their place. Accessibility and localization are part of the build, not a later pass.
Backends and APIs
The services your app talks to: REST and GraphQL APIs in Go, C#, Java, or Python, backed by PostgreSQL and shipped in Docker. Clean contracts, push notifications that actually arrive, and boundaries you can still maintain a year from now.
Web and Squarespace
Marketing sites, product pages, and app support pages built to be fast, responsive, and accessible. New builds in hand written HTML and CSS, or Squarespace template customization and content management if you want to edit it yourself afterward.
QA and Release Management
Already have an app and need it to ship reliably? Test plans, unit and UI automation, TestFlight beta cycles with real feedback loops, CI/CD in GitHub Actions or Xcode Cloud, and App Store submission and review handled for you.
