Overview

TossTracker is a cornhole scoring app developed by SarahUniverse for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Your privacy is important, and this policy explains how TossTracker handles your information.

Data Collection

TossTracker does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics, and the app makes no network requests of its own. Nothing you enter in TossTracker is ever sent to the developer.

Data Stored on Your Device

TossTracker stores the following information locally on your device to provide its core functionality:

• Team names and bag colors you choose for your games
• Game scores and round history for completed games and for the game in progress
• App preferences such as onboarding status, appearance, sound, haptics, and motion settings, and which in-app tips you've already seen

This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults, and stays on your devices.

Apple Watch

If you use the TossTracker Apple Watch app, the game in progress (team names, bag colors, scores, and rounds) is exchanged directly between your iPhone and your paired Apple Watch using Apple's Watch Connectivity framework. The watch keeps a copy so you can score on your wrist and see the score on your watch face. This data only travels between your own devices, never to the developer or anyone else.

Widgets, Live Activities, and Control Center

TossTracker can show your game on the Home Screen, the Lock Screen, and in the Dynamic Island. To do this, the app shares a small score summary with its widgets through storage on your device. Live Activities and widgets appear on your Lock Screen, so anyone who can see your locked device can see the current score and team names. You can turn off Live Activities for TossTracker in the Settings app, or remove the widgets at any time.

Spotlight Search

Finished games are added to your device's on-device Spotlight index, so you can find them by team name in system search. This index is stored on your device and managed by iOS and iPadOS. A game is removed from Spotlight when you delete it or clear your game history in TossTracker, and all TossTracker entries are removed when you uninstall the app.

Siri and Shortcuts

You can use Siri and the Shortcuts app to record throws and manage your game. When you do, Siri processes your voice request, and TossTracker gives Siri the updated score to read back to you. Siri is provided by Apple and is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Information You Choose to Share

TossTracker only sends information off your device when you choose to:

• Exporting game history: the Share button in History creates a CSV file of your games and hands it to the system share sheet. You decide where it goes.
• Sending feedback: Send Feedback opens Apple's Mail with a message addressed to support. Nothing is sent unless you send the email.

Third-Party Services

TossTracker does not use any third-party services, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies. Features such as Siri, Spotlight, Live Activities, and Apple Watch are provided by Apple as part of iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS.

Data Sharing

TossTracker does not share any data with third parties, and does not sell or track your data.

Data Retention

All app data remains on your devices until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling TossTracker from your iPhone or iPad removes its data from that device, including its Spotlight entries. Removing the TossTracker app from your Apple Watch removes its data from the watch.

Children's Privacy

TossTracker does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this document.
